Hello,

I have issues using the unsteady state statistics in the post processing.

In my simulation i do have 49s out of 90s sampled with data sampling and I can create the curve I'd like through the tree on the left > Result > Plot > Plot Xy as it can be seen in the image.

However when i enter the post processing software, this possibility to use the data from the average isn't shown, i've produced an image of all the data I can use to create curves.

I do not know why but it seems that the unsteady state statistics in post processing is unavailable to me and I was wondering whether there was a box I could check to make this available in the options or anything really.

At the moment I'm using Ansys version 19 R2 with a working student license.

Much thanks if you have any idea of what I could do.

The post-processing tool is not really meant for Fluent; it was originally post-processor of CFX. So, it does not load everything from Fluent by default. What you can do although is to write CFD-Post compatible file and select the Unsteady Statistics in the available data. This is doable using File > Export > Solution Data. Select CFD-Post Compatible and in the last column, select all the variables you need, specifically Unsteady ones.
