Hi. I attempted to save a solution animation as a video file and the software was not responding/ crashed. As a result, the "solution" window closed and I got bumped back to the main screen. Next to the solution tab there was now a checkmark and a pause sign. When I re-opened the solution window and tried to view the animation I had before, it was empty/not recorded. Is there any way to recover this animation? This has happened to me several times and it's extremely frustrating after the code was computing for hours.

Although if you stored your solution files at every time step during you solve, you can view animations in CFD post. |

as far as I know, recovering is not possible
personally I'm making pictures through simulation, so I can make animation later. Some data will be available even if the fluent has crashed
