Hello everyone.

What does the scale mean in volume fraction?

Thanks

vinerm will become famous soon enough
Scale essentially means the values used in the colormap, e.g., usually whenever volume fraction for a phase is plotted, either the minimum and maximum are 0 and 1 or the values could be limited to a maximum value because it is stated that a particular phase never goes beyond a certain value of volume fraction, such as, 0.72 is maximum limit for packing of granular phase.

Thanks for your reply.
The Min and Max in my model are from 1 to 0 and the colors from blue (0)to red (1) are obvious in the image. If these numbers refer to the scale and the numbers exist in the image, why the reviewer again has asked me to explain it? The volume fraction in my field are put routinely as an image with the legend contains of the contour colors and relevant numbers.

Did the reviewer mention about any image when he or she asked the question? If yes, could you share that image?
