Hello everyone,
I divided a 2D domain into parts in geometry section to make a structured mesh. (Divided fluid domain into 3 by line) However, in fluent some parts were defined as Wall, even though the lines are inside the domains. It should be a part of the fluid domain. I was just wondering what are the consequences of changing wall to interior? Also the walls are ended up creating new cell zone. Can I turn these walls into interior? |

If it shows as wall-shadow pairs, then you can directly change Type to Interior. If not, then you can use Mesh > Fuse provided the mesh on both sides is same within a certain tolerance. Otherwise, you have to go back to CAD, ensure that all bodies belong to same part, and then remesh it. Another alternative is to convert these into interfaces and then create Mesh Interface.
