Fan Volume Flow Rate

Hello to all,
I'm trying to implement the cooler of an electric vehicle into the CFD simulation of said vehicle. The simulation runs just fine but the Volume Flow Rate through the cooler and fan is way smaller than it should be. (0.02 m3/s with about 0.15 m3/s expected) I'll attach a screenshot of the settings for the settings of the fan zone and the porous-jump zone. Does anybody know how I can fix this? I already tried setting the minimum and maximum velocity magnitude on the fan condition. This helped but it still doesn't reach the desired volume flow rate without increasing the velocity magnitude to way more than the fan is capable of. I calculated the polynomials with my own data according to this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUW0yhY8jj0 Also a side note I'm not sure about the Tangential and Radial Velocity Profile as I couldn't find any manufacturer data on this for the fan or find any resources on how to calculate this. For the tangential velocity I simply calculated the velocity of the wingtips of the fan and guessed the radial velocity. Are these values realistic? The fan used is an EBM-Papst 4114 N/2H8P. Thanks in advance for the help! 84qf1v7hu4151.jpg lzk2nyqhu4151.png |
