how fluent calculate terms of momentum equation in porous zone?

Default how fluent calculate terms of momentum equation in porous zone?

Hi all,

I have a quesiton about how fluent actually calculate pressure gradient and stress tensor term in momentum equation of porous zone.

I checked theory manual of fluent and know stress tensor is related to viscosity. I am wondering is the viscosity of fluid in porous zone equal to viscosity of fluid without porous media. That is fluent doesn't really treat viscosity in porous zone specially.

Secondly , how fluent calculate pressure gradient term in momentum equation of porous zone? By the way, I used coupled scheme for velocity-pressure coupling.
