Hi, this might be a silly question, but I have a problem with viewing transient .dat files using CFD-post.
I am currently simulating a transient simulation using a HPC. Before this, when I ran the simulation on my workstation (2ddp), it saved .cas and .dat files as following: example.cas example-00100.dat example-00200.dat ... and I could view the transient results by simply by opening the .dat files via CFD post. But when I try the same with the .dat file I obtain from the HPC, it requires exact same name of .cas file to read the .dat file via CFD-post. (to read example-00100.dat file, it needs example-00100.cas file) I have both the original .cas file (example.cas) and transient results all in the same folder. What could be causing this problem and how would I solve it? As you can imagine, it causes a lot of inconvenience creating each .cas file for each .dat file. Thank you in advance! |
