Hello,
I'm new to Ansys Fluent and i'm currently facing a memory usage problem while running a transient simulation. At the beginning, the memory usage is ~30% and then it keeps increasing after each iteration until it reaches 100% and force Fluent to close. - Running on 2021R1 Ansys Fluent version (premium). - CPU is an Intel Core i5-7500 with 4 cores - 32GB DDR4 ram - ~400k cells geometry - Transient, k-epsilon turbulent, VOF, SIMPLE velocity-pressure coupling - 10,000 time steps with 0.001 time step size - No dynamic meshing - Data are autosaved every 0.1s of flow time. Is anyone facing same difficulties ? Best regards, Axel |
