Hello,

I am trying to obtain residence time distribution (RTD) of a fluid inside a chamber. I am using species transport model to do this.

The thing is that in my first timestep the tracer immediately from the inlet reaches the outlet (please see first image). So I don't have any delay between my injection time and observing the tracer in outlet. As you see at t=0 s, I have tracer in my outlet (please see image 2).

Could you please help me understand the reason?

Thank you,
