I am recently doing the work about simulating the nucleate pool boiling using fluent, but i meet a problem confusing me two months. my geometry is 3D. At first, the size is 9cm*9cm*9cm, the result is normal,the boiling bubble can depart from the heated wall ,but when i change my geometry to 900um*900um*900um, the boiling bubbles keeping in the heated wall, merging with other bubbles


my boundary conditions ,bottom,set heated zone temperature 378.15K,above 373.15K. top is pressure-out no backflow. I used the vof model.

i change the contact angle between vapor and wall to 180° to prevent the bubble sticking in the heated wall, but still no results.

although i reduce the suface tension coefficient, seriously the very little coefficient can have some improvement,maybe the 1/100 of 0.072.

i really need your help, any suggestions may be siginificient to me ,thank you.
