Sylen is on a distinguished road
Dear all,

I'm working on a project where a flow volume should be reduced in order to improve a tool for blown film extrusion.

I ran a flow simulation and created an isovolume in post where I ruled out everything below a certain velocity threshold. Now i want to export the volume to calculate further design iterations. That is where I got my problem. It is not possible to export the volume.

What I tried so far, is to define an isoclip and create an user surface where i merge it with the inlet and outlet. Export it as STL and change it back to an volume in Spaceclaim then remesh it. But due towall adhesion inlet and outlet overlap the wall and this leads to problems in the conversion back to a volume.

Is there something I have missed? Would an export of the mesh be possible with a macro?

Thank you and best regards,
Jonas
