Contour plotting algorithm

Hello
In fluent (or CFD-post) what is the algorithm for interpolating the result across the entire surface? I know the simulation computes the variables at the nodes, however, what algorithm does the software use when plotting contours or extracting the information at any coordinate? Thank you |

the reason why you need to get plotting algorithm is unclear
you may write all data into used defined node locations and plot by your own
