Hi all
I have a problem with reading a pdf transport file
When I run the case file on ansys 19.1, and then I try to read pdf transport file (case.pdf), an error message appears saying that Version of the file (pdf file) : "fluent18.0" and fluent stops.
Can anyone help with that?
Thanks

vinerm will become famous soon enough
PDFs have version compatibility but only if there are no structural changes. From 18 to 19, there might have been some changes to the format. Better to generate new PDF in 19.

The pdf table was created in a 19.3 version, but when I come back to log file, I find the the following :Version of the file: "fluent18.0"
I don't know from where 18.0 came

The generation of the PDF does not write it. If there was an existing PDF file of same name, then, you will have to overwrite it. You can open PDF file in any text editor, such as, vi, gedit, or textpad and look for the details inside it.

Hi all,
I am using the Non-premixed combustion model for my case in the Transient step. Therefore, I have calculated a .pdf file for species. However, when I try to run it in the cluster, cluster won't able to read it. In fact, when I try to open this .pdf file on my local machine, it doesn't open.
Can someone please help me with this issue?

Kind Regards

The Version consistency for PDFs is possible, but only if there are no structural changes. The layout can be changed from 18 to 19. It is preferable to create a fresh PDF in 19.

Find the PDF you want to open in your Files and double click to open. Select Adobe Acrobat (or whichever reader you downloaded) from the list of available options. If no list appears or the page opens in another application, you can right-click the file and select Open With to choose your PDF reader. Click Open.
