Hello,
I am simulating the flow over an array of cylinders. I would like the top part to have a periodic BC. I have seen that I need to do a match control in Ansys meshing so that the mesh is conformal. Is this compulsory? Which axis of rotation and high and low geometries should I select? When I import my model into Fluent, I can make the top edges to be interfaces, but from there I cannot make them periodic as no option is enabled. Hope you can help me with this one. Thank you |

you can't make periodic boundary with axis at the bottom

What kind of BCs would you impose if you wanted to consider an infinite array of parallel cylinders with this geometry?
