Hi everyone,
I need to get the 2D results from a face of a cylinder and replicate these values along its length (according to the number of elements in this direction), so I obtain an initial 3D field of Incident Radiation (the variable that I need to keep with fixed values) in the tube. I need to do this approach rather than simulate the DO model in a 3D solver because the time and the amount of memory necessary to do this are not feasible. The thing is, I'm trying to use a simple Profile approach, by testing first the transference of 2D results from a determined cell zone (not a boundary) to the same cell zone in a non-initialized case. When I do this, It seems that the results were not correctly loaded in the cell region of the non-initialized case. Does anybody know if this is the right approach and how to use properly the Profile approach for cell zones in Fluent? |
