Hi!
I am working on fluid dynamics simulations using Ansys Fluent 2019 R3. My volume mesh geometry has three boundaries: two are velocity profile inlets, and the third I would like to set as a three-element Windkessel model outlet. I have noticed that Windkessel V3 extension is available for versions 17, 17.1, and 17.2, but it is not compatible with newer versions of Fluent, including the one I currently use. I have read about using UDFs and CEL expressions to integrate the model into Ansys, but the implementation of the model in Fluent was not described in detail. My question is: how can a lumped model, specifically the three-element Windkessel, be implemented as an outlet in recent versions of Ansys Fluent? I would appreciate any help. Thank you in advance. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you very much in advance |

In fact the WK model provided by Ansys for V17.x can also be used for more recent versions. What you need to do is simple complie the udf in Fluent you use and load the library.
