Hello Everyone,

I have a uniform cross section pipe having mass flow rate at inlet. I wants to know what will be the value of pressure just before the outlet and pressure drop along the pipe.

I need help to set BCs for that.

The inlet boundary condition set as velocity inlet but don't know what to set at outlet.

My question may silly but need help.

You can set the pressure outlet to 0 pa or to a certain pressure depending on the downstream condition of the pipe.

To calculate the pressure drop it will simply be Inlet Pressure - Outlet Pressure. In the case of 0 pa outlet, the pressure drop will be equal to the Inlet Pressure. You can calculate the inlet pressure using the "surface integrals" in the results tab.
