Simulation Diverges after Pausing and Restarting -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

yanqoue New Member nicola Join Date: Sep 2016 Posts: 24 Rep Power: 9	I had a VOF2DPM case with adaptive mesh refinement. It was running smoothly. Then I realized that I should add one more variable for the outputs (which doesn't effect anything). I did that and re-started the simulation by using the latest ".cas" and ".dat" files, because mesh is constantly changing so does the case file. But suddenly simulation started to diverge, courant number jumped by 2 times. What is the problem? If I didn't stop the simulation, everything would be fine. But what could cause this issue? I didn't change anything, I just interrupted it.
