prometheus is on a distinguished road
Hello guys,
So basically I'm doing a project to simulate horizontal wind turbine, I got the input variable from the experimental experiment. I'm doing the simulation with rotating frame method and my inputs are angular velocity, velocity, and density. The experimental result I got 0,01 and the simulation result I got 0,92 torque which the gap is huge and I suspect it's because of the density of my blade count as default, and I think this is the reason. So my question is, how do I applied custom density on my blade? I tried to edit the density on set up materials in ansys fluent and spaceclaim even I tried both and it still doesn't work. How do I solve this, my density really small which 28,1821 kg/m^3 and the blade's mass only 2,5 because I made it only from wood as a structure and some kind of paper for the cover. These are my mesh quality, inputs, and torque.
