Greetings everyone,

I'm reaching out here seeking assistance in overcoming some challenges I'm currently encountering while simulating a transient conjugate heat transfer problem.

The task at hand involves studying the temporal evolution of temperature changes in spheres within a tank, heated by hot steam from an inlet, using Ansys Fluent.

As you're likely aware, the heat conduction in solids occurs at a much slower pace than convection in fluids. This characteristic poses a practical challenge when attempting to simulate the problem with a small time step.

Upon exploring the capabilities of Fluent, I've discovered that it allows for the specification of a solid time step distinct from the fluid time step. I am not sure what happens exactly in this case, as both convection and conduction are coupled, and If I am interested in rendering the temperature of the solid with real time, how can I do this?

Furthermore, I would greatly appreciate any suggestions on a suitable approach for estimating the value of the solid time step.

I extend my sincere thanks in advance for any responses and insights.
Abbas
