Default Erroneous specific heat

Posts: n/a
I am modeling argon as a monatomic gas. (3 translational dofs). I select the kinetic theory option for specific heat and set the number of dofs to 3.

Cv should then be based on a formula like (f/2)kT and be 3.12 J/kg/K

Cp should be based on the formula (f+2)/2 kT and be 520 J/kg/K

where f is the number of dofs.

However, when Cp is plotted it returns the value 312.

Only by setting f=5 can the correct Cp be obtained
