Can someone tell me if FLUENT is able to import unstructured HEX-meshes (Incl. hanging nodes) that have a "STAR-CD format" (extensions : *.cel, *.vrt, *.bnd, *.cpl) ?
Thanks, Bruno |

I do not know if Fluent can import StarCd files. But you can export Star meshes to NASTRAN Format and import this into Fluent. Of course you are loosing all your coupling and boundary information. Another way is maybe via ICEM. ICEM can import STAR meshes (with or without coupling and boundary information I do not know) and export Fluent meshes.
