Hi all,
how important is stretch/aspect ratio for meshing?. I would like to mesh around a 2d cylinder (radius 0.5). In Gambit I would to like to put a boundary layer of depth 0.006, and use about 100 circumferential points along the edge. However this gives me an aspect ratio of about 60 for the mesh along the cylinder. Does this mean I have to put more points along the cylider to decrease this aspect ratio or is it not important?? Thanks alot |
