In 2dd problem Axisymmetric Vof In
- Multhiphase Model 2 components - visosus model k-epsilon 2 eqn standard - standard wall functions the solver that it doesn't converge the iter continuity - me from the following mistake: Error: Internal error at line 743 in file 'amgif.c'. divergence detected in AMG solver Error Object: () turbulent viscosity limited to viscosity ratio of 1.000000e+05 in 132 cells. Thanks for your attention. Bey well, |

Hallo What VOF scheme did you use? It should not have any problem to get converged solution. Start with a smaller time step if you do time dependent simulations.

I don't see any reason why it doesn't work.

Does it converge in 10 iterations? Whats the convergent criteria?

They are the Iteration max for step, but doesn't converge also with Max Iter = 50.
Could question but perhaps depend to type of mesh ? Thank you |

I am pretty sure that its the mesh quality. I have been using VOF with geo for more than 2 years now, I didn't have any major difficulties.

Does it know pointing to me a few books that treat any problem of Mesh in turbulent regime? Thank you.
