I'm using dynamic mesh, but in the mesh motion preview fluent tells that a negative volume is detected. Please help me because my work cannot start. Thanks

Did you check your mesh??? Do you have no left handedness faces as per fluent definition.... If you' have some problem in mesh generation you should be able to check that in Fluent after importing the mesh. What kind of dynamic mesh problem are you solving??? Is it uniformly deformed or ????
Thanks, AJ |

I have check the grid and there is no problem, I have a wall that moves and an interface and another wall perpendicular to the first wall that are deforming zone, I'm simulating the passing of a train in a gallery.
How can I check the handedness of my grid? I can tell you that after the first updating, when a negative volume is detected, some left handed an right handed faces exist. Thank you AJ (I don't think really to understand what is the handedness) |
