Hi,

I'm trying to get the critical Reynolds number to know when it goes from laminar flow to turbulent flow. To reach this, I am simulating with the following characteristics:

- Transient flow
- Laminar flow
- Flow over a 2D cylinder
- Diameter: 48mm
- Density: 1,225 kg / m3
- Viscosity: 0.001852kg / s m

My doubt lies that when I simulate low Reynolds numbers, it is clear that it is a laminar flow com can be seen in the following photo:

-Re = 75

But as I increase the Reynolds number, increase the speed, an intermediate flow begins to be created but I don't know at what specific point it is a turbulent flow, and thus get the critical Reynolds number. In the following photos you can see different numbers of Reynolds:

-Re =85
FFF1.png

-Re =100
FFF3.png

-Re =127
FFF4.png

-Re =159

Therefore, what I want to know is if there is any tip that I can rely on to know when a flow is laminar or turbulent.
