Hi,
I am running Fluent 6.2.16 on a Linux cluster, which has 'rsh' disabled. When I select 'ssh MPICH' as the communicator in the 'Select solver' section, it tells me to use '-ssh' option at the command line. I tried that, but still can;t get away from the failure of 'rsh'. So, how can I use parallel Fluent here without enabling the 'rsh' command?? Can somebody give me some advice on that? Many thx. --Bill |

Why is rsh disabled in the first place? Also you should be able to rsh back and forth the nodes without a password. Let me know if you need help with this.

pUl, thx.
rsh is disabled for security reasons. I tried to use fluent -nmpissh, but it says the option is deprecated. |
