hallo,
I don't quite understand how UDF is being compiled by Fluent. For my case, it works at times and sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't, the comment given is "Error: open_udf_library. The system cannot find the data." Can anybody give me some quick explanation of this? Many thanks in advance! |

Is the UDF library in same directory as case file? Also, has the library been loaded?

Does the UDF library need to be in the same directory as case file? If I remember correctly, it works at times even if the UDF library is not. That's why I'm a bit confused.
I would definitely help if you are enlighted me on the process of how fluent compile the UDF. Sometimes comments like "fatal error LNK1104:cannot open file libudf.dll" What does it mean... |

The safest way is to keep all the files for the compiler that you are using in the same directory where fluent is. I've had similar errors and until i have gathered all the files in the same directory it wouldn't stop bothering me.
