Default Convergence problem in RNG

Hi, I am trying to simulate a steady-state incompressible flow in y-shaped duct using RNG k-e model. I m getting good convergence with the standard pressure discretization but whenever i m switching over to 2nd order scheme, the solusion is not converging. I am choosing swirl dominated flow. Though there is no swirl motion at the inlet, but in reality there will be swirl flow at the downstream due to the effect of centerline curvature. Can anyone help me please.
