UDS question

Hi,
I want to find the residence time of the liquid inside my geometry. I'm not modeling particle tracking. How do I define a UDS (User- Defined Scalar) for this? I found examples for UDF velocities, but not for residence times in the Fluent Help. Or is it possible to inject a particle (assuming it to be of zero mass) and track its motion and then find the residence time? What would be the best approach? I'm using the k-e turbulence model. Thanks, Vidya |
