I am trying to solve a case of circular air jet emanating into a cylindrical vessel filled with air ie, under atmospheric pressure. I am trying to solve a 2D axisymmetric case. so my jet radius is 0.0005m (0.5mm) and the domain is 0.1mx0.1m (100mmx100mm). I am giving a parabolic velocity profile with a max velocity of 30m/s at the velocity inlet which will be in laminar range. So my question is will this case come under micrometer scale flow dynamics and will the Fluent's default solver be able to solve this problem. And also,If I can solve this case using FLUENT's default solver, what kind of mesh you will suggest me so that it wont make up several hundred thousands or millions of nodes and I will be able to solve using an ordinary computer.
