When I run fluent from our institute server from any remote comp using linux, I get the following message as an error when I choose to display any plot/contour,iteration residual graph, etc.
"OpenGL cannot find visual" But when I run it from any computer from the lab, I can do just fine. My Linux is FC5 while lab OS is FC2. Even lab people are perplexed why this error comes. Can anyone help me out as to what could be the problem? Thanks... |

Sorry .. I didn't see that you are running linux and not windows. When you start Fluent in your command window add the option -x. That usually works.

Please type the following command when you launch fluent. fluent [version] -driver x11 for unix/linux
Basically your graphics driver card is not supported. You may need to upgrade your driver of grpahics card which is available free of cost on the site of your graphics card vendor. |
