Vortex Induced Vibration modelling

Hi,
Just wandering whether what's the best model to use when i want to model a fixed cylindrical structure and its Vortex Induced Vibration. Someone suggest me to use DES (Detached Eddy Simulation)? Is that ok? Thanks Kwong |
