VOF steady state : river : floating point error

Hi! I am a student and I must model a river in a swimming pool. The water which creates the flow in the river is injected into the swimming pool by a hole. The surface of water is in contact with the free air and thus is at the atmospheric pressure.
Must I use the VOF model, to obtain the result in steady state, or is there another simpler solution. In addition, when I use the VOF steady state model to solve this problem, the solver indicates "turbulent viscosity limited to viscosity ratio in N cells" and numbers of cells N increases until the solver shows an error: Floating point error: invalid number… What must I make then to solve this problem Thank you for your help Marion |
