Fluent coupled with external process

Hello everyone!!
We are dealing with a Server Client Interface on a coupling problem between Fluent and Rad-Therm implemented as a C++ program. When the coupling is executed, the library hooked into Fluent is able to write and re-read the file just created but could-not read any file created by an external process, namely the process which started Fluent in batch mode. It is not a matter of rights for giving the textfile all rights in Linux (777) does not help. Neither is it a matter of synchronization, as the file is first created and then the fluent process started. Please give some input on how to read this text file. Feel free to send an email, if you need further information With regards Nitesh Goyal. |
