After years with Star CCM I have to work with Fluent.
Nice software but it's a nightmare to get a model from CAD into Fluent.

Simple misalignment of the surfaces seems to need hours of work with Fluent to get it done... 2 clicks at CCM.

May I think to simple.. some edge zip operation - something like CCM it has.
Could somebody give me some hint to solve this issues?

I already tried merge but it seems not to work in the way I need it...

Somehowe mesh is "invisble" after collapsing 2 nodes.. what a shitty software...

Yes I tried the Space and Designer...
I will prepare the mesh with an extra software...
Can't work hours on the mesh correction in Fluent.

Some files I didn't create and some "easy" CAD software makes very bad surfaces. Nice for design - less math impact but bad for simulation etc. pp.

So I was able to create my mesh.

Already found a lot of bugs... it's amazing who easy a software in version 19 can crash

But I see the differences to other CFD software and it seems to have a lot of reasons why other software is more used
