gambit meshing

hi
i am modelling a heat transfer problem for that i am creating a mesh in gambit which consist of a cavity with(inside) different solid regions.models were created by spliting the solid regions and when i mesh,the entities were not connected.how can i connect? thank you |

mesh>face > connect-disconnect button and selct your faces to be connected. Hope it is what you want

Hello,
When you split your solids, you could select the "Connected" option in the "Split Volume" form. Hope it helps, Ken |

Check connectivity by displaying by connectivity instead of topology (default) so you can clearly see what is connected and what is not.
