Default dimension of separation zone

how can i do measure dimensions of separation zone in junction? i simulate an open channel with a a junction in FLUENT. i want to measure dimensions of separation zone in lateral intake. how can i do it?

try plotting the shear stresses on the walls. they are zero at separaion/reattachment points - between them should be a separation zone.
