I am dealing with a problem where I have to model thermal radiation from a 6000K hot microwave excited plasma contained in a quartz tube.Quartz, so far my knowledge is concerned is transparent to microwave radiation. So I am interested in modeling the thermal radiation part of a 6000K temperature of hot gas to the walls.

So my question is which radiation model will be best suited for my case. Can I use P-1 radiation model?

Please give suggestions.
