Dear all
I need to import a STL file into gambit, the file is built from a CT-scan which I can not convert it to any other format as far as I know after adjusting the feater angel to 180 the grometry had more than 30k vertices the faces were virtual and gambit couldn't convert them to real what is the most appropriate value of the feater angel? and what to do to work with and cleaning STL file in general. any help would be appreciated Kindest Regards Ibo |

Try to import STL in CAD software first (Pro/E, UG, Catia etc..) and then change it to iges/igs format an try. May be workable?
