surface injection or point injection? -- CFD Online Discussion Forums

sukura_1984 New Member Zhang Cong Join Date: Jul 2009 Posts: 1 Rep Power: 0	The case l simulated is coal combustion in boiler furnace. I tried setting point injection and surface injection for the inlet of coal particles. And the fule gas temperature for the point injection is higher of 200k than second one. which one is more accurate? or which one is more suitable for my case? many thanks. sukura
