I am working on a fuel element.
The fuel element structural material is graphite in the form of right hexagonal prism, 7930 mm high and 360 mm across flats. It has 108 coolant holes with 15 mm diameter. Coolant holes run parallel through the length of the prism.
I need to define both viscous and inertial resistance coefficients.
I have not any experimental values about pressure and velocity.
Please told me how to calculate the viscous and inertial resistance coefficients.
Which method suitable for my problem to derive viscous and inertial loss coefficients?
1. Method: Deriving Porous Media Inputs Based on Superficial Velocity, Using a known Pressure Loss.
2.Method: Using the Ergun Equation to Derive Porous Media Inputs for a Packed Bed
3.Method: Using an Empirical Equation to Derive Porous Media Inputs for Turbulent Flow Through a Perforated Plate.
Or, Are there any empirical equation to derive calculate the viscous and inertial resistance for my problem?

would you like give some example how to calculate the inertial and vicous resistace except from fluet user's guide.
