Hello,

I'm running a 2D external gearpump with cavitation effects by employing the Schnerr & Sauer cavitation model included in Fluent 12. Although the default convergence criteria is met (all residuals lower than 1e-3) the continuity equation is not satisfied. The mass flux entering the pump in a cycle is around 10% bigger than the one leaving the pump. ¿May this be connected to this cavitation model? ¿Should I change the convergence criteria?

Thanks!!!
