hi !

i am modelling a heat ex-changer with cross flow entry. due to the cross flow , there is some flow distribution among the flow channels of the shell side fluid. this is giving a temperature distribution among the pipes, which cause a thermal buckling of he hottest tube and stretching in coldest tube. to minimize to address this issue, i am doing a full simulation.

i have used HYPERMESH for modelling and meshing. it was having 980 collectors, and there are 16 porous jumps for the shell side fluid, so this is resulting in further division in FLUENT taking the total to ~1600 boundaries.

the case file written from HYPERMESH as FLUENT case is giving an error ACCESS VIOLATION while reading.

can any one help me to solve this issue.

the attachment gives a schematic. only 26000 to 18500 portion is modelled
