Hi,
I have one doubt in FLuent. ie I want to specify outlet pressure as 5 bar in my problem using Fluent. If i use operating pressure as 1bar(101325 Pa). Then what value i have to specify. Whether 5 bar or I have to take relative pressure value (5-1=4bar). Any one plz help me to sortout this problem. Thanks in Advance mahendra |

All calculated pressures in your domain (including outlet pressures) are gauge pressures i.e relative to your operating pressure. So your outlet pressure BC will be 4bar , if your operating pressure is 1 bar.
Alternately you could specify your operating pressure as 5 bar and outlet BC as 0 bar. Regards Luke |
