hi, im currently doing a simulation of pem fuel cell using ansys fluent. can anyone here explain to me what is the significance of I-V polarization curve to the efficiency of the fuel cell

The way the IV curve gives you some idea of the efficiency is that a theoretically 100% efficient cell would have a perfectly flat horizontal IV 'curve' which means that the voltage would not drop with increasing current. The flatter/higher your curve, the better.
