High CPU temperature during CFD runs

Greetings

I have a core i7 3770 and stock Intel fan and I am running simulations almost all the time. But recently I checked the CPU temperature during runs and it gets to really high values like 105 C with the fan spinning at maximum speed.
Since the system is under high pressure in almost 24/7, should I be worry about this matter and get a qualified cooler?
Its been a long time that the CPU is running under such conditions.

The first step should be to use a vacuum cleaner and remove the dust. When this is not enough, you might consider a better cooler. Noctuas are usually the best choice.

At 105°C, the CPU will be thermal throttling to avoid damage. This in turn reduces performance. Any cheap aftermarket CPU cooler in the range of 20$ will do a much better job than the Intel stock cooler. When changing the coolers, make sure to remove the remaining thermal paste completely and apply new paste. New coolers usually come with some pre-applied thermal paste or include a small sample, so you don't have to buy it separately.
Even if you don't care about performance you should still change the cooler. Running 24/7 at 105°C will definitely reduce the lifespan of your CPU.

I think I go and get a Deepcool Gimmax 300 or Cooler Master 212 EVO.

Even with a stock fan the CPU should never get that hot, this is even more true since the cpu should already be throttling down. I would check the thermal paste and reapply it. There's no way to simply check and replace, you have to apply fresh paste if you dismount the heat sink.

Yes the temperature that high was really weird to me. When I checked the silicon paste it was relatively worn off. But I bought a cooler anyway just in case.
