Hi,

does anyone know how I can use a radiation model (DOM) for calculation flows in vacuum?

Set the absorption and scatter coefficients to zero. You are then using DOM to solve the following radiative transport equation

dI/ds = 0

that is, you are solving radiative transport through a transaparent (non-participating) media (a vacuum in your case).

There are many papers on people using DOM to calculate view factors (which is done by radiative transport through a non-participating media).
