Hi,
i have a problem understanding when to use the unsteady bernoulli equations. As far as I understood, there is a time dependent potential that needs to be computed in every time step, but this potential will only vary when using different boundary conditions for different time steps, am I right? Does it only make sense to use the unsteady bernoulli equations if there are unsteady boundary conditions? If there are steady boundary conditions, will this problem reduce to solving the potential equations? Any hints are appreciated, Daniel |

I would be happy, if anybody could provide a pointer to some additional information for the unsteady bernoulli equation, even if it is not a direct answer to my question.
