Greetings. I am attempting to export a mesh consisting of 2D triangular elements in STL/ASCII format in Hypermesh 11.0 (for use in 3-matic). Every time I attempt the export, I get the attached error message.
The number of elements "not defined in the template" (244684) is the total number of elements in the model. Does anyone have any familiarity with this sort of error message? Thanks in advance. |

The problem is that the elements were second order (quadratic). A simple "order change" should resolve your issue.
